Around the Brno Exhibition Centre, you’ll find many attractive places that make every visitor’s stay more enjoyable and enrich their experience of the city.
Just a few steps from the Exhibition Centre lies the iconic Villa Stiassni, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Nature lovers will appreciate the nearby Anthropos Park, which is not only an ideal spot for relaxation in the greenery but also features an engaging exhibition about the history of prehistoric humans. The main attraction of the Anthropos Pavilion is a life-size reconstruction of a mammoth, fascinating for both children and adults alike.
If you enjoy peaceful walks combined with beautiful views, head to the nearby Špilberk Castle. This historical landmark of Brno offers panoramic views of the entire city, the possibility to visit the castle museum, and a pleasant stroll through the castle park — a popular place for locals and tourists to relax.
Near our hotel, you can also visit the historic water reservoirs located between Tvrdého and Tomešova Streets in Old Brno on the slope of Žlutý kopec (Yellow Hill). The three reservoirs were built gradually between the 1860s and the 1910s. They were decommissioned in 1997 and declared a cultural monument in 2019.
Visiting this place was truly a pleasant experience – thanks to its modern and stylish interior as well as the excellent desserts and drinks.
Today, we returned once again to a familiar place.
Instead of waitress Míša, we were served by another smiling team member, this time a young man named Vojta. Once again, very kind, pleasant, helpful, and hardworking. His smile lights up the entire café 😊
